Rental Instructions
Everything you need to know for pickup, drop-off, and your post-rental inspection.
Where to Pick Up
Trailers are picked up at our Lake Worth, FL location. The exact address will be confirmed in your booking confirmation email. Please arrive during your scheduled pickup window.
What to Bring
Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID and the credit or debit card used at booking. You will also need a vehicle capable of towing the trailer — a standard 2-inch ball hitch is required for both trailers.
Hitch & Towing Requirements
Both the 3.5 Ton and 7 Ton dump trailers require a 2-inch ball hitch rated for the trailer's gross weight. Your towing vehicle must also meet the manufacturer's tow rating for the trailer you are renting — the 3.5 Ton trailer requires a minimum tow rating of 7,000 lbs and the 7 Ton trailer requires a minimum tow rating of 14,000 lbs. Your vehicle must have working trailer brake lights and turn signals. We will perform a quick safety check before releasing the trailer and reserve the right to refuse release if the towing vehicle is deemed unsafe or inadequate.
Loading & Weight Limits
Do not exceed the rated capacity of your trailer. The 3.5 Ton trailer is rated for up to 7,000 lbs gross weight; the 7 Ton trailer is rated for up to 14,000 lbs gross weight. Overloading the trailer is a safety hazard and may result in additional charges.
Return & Drop-Off
Return the trailer clean and empty by your scheduled end time. Late returns are subject to additional hourly charges. If you need to extend your rental, please call us as soon as possible so we can check availability.
Drop-Off Instructions
Return the trailer to the agreed drop-off location by your scheduled end time unless TC Trailer Rental confirms another arrangement. Park on a level surface, set the parking brake, chock the wheels when provided, secure the coupler and safety chains, and leave all keys, equipment, and accessories as instructed. Do not leave a loaded trailer or block driveways, gates, or traffic areas.
Post-Rental Inspection
Before you leave the trailer at drop-off, remove all personal property and debris, check that the bed and tailgate are empty and secured, and inspect the trailer for damage, tire issues, lights, or equipment concerns. Take clear photos of all sides, the bed, and any damage, then report any issue to TC Trailer Rental as soon as possible.
